The Comox Valley is situated in the
middle of Vancouver Island's east coast. The three incorporated
communities of the Comox Valley are the City of Courtenay, the Town of
Comox, and the Village of Cumberland. Other unincorporated communities
within the Comox Valley include Merville, Black Creek, Royston, Union
Bay, Fanny Bay, Saratoga Beach, Denman Island, and Hornby Island. The
Comox Valley is bordered on the west by the Beaufort Mountain Range
with its breathtaking Comox Glacier and Strathcona Park, and on the
east by the Strait of Georgia, Comox Harbour and Baynes Sound.
